Some drugs are really bad, especially the ones that have been made illegal, like ecstasy and heroin- these drugs can kill you. It is really important that young people learn about the dangers of drugs so they know how to avoid putting their lives in danger.

Drugs given to you by your doctor are generally good for you- that is, when they are prescribed to make you feel better. If the doctor doesn’t prescribe them to you, you shouldn’t take them- only take medicines when they are given to you to make you better!

Medicines developed over the last 200 years have allowed for a significant improvement in quality of life and have led to longer lifespans. Medicines are safe to use within their prescribed dosages and without them many of us would not be alive.
Narcotics on the other hand do not have medical benefit so these are bad.
