I am working on numerous stages of the drug development process and largely focused on drugs to combat cancers. At the moment I have experiments running on drugs to target prostate and ovarian cancers as well as early stage development for a brain inhibitor. At this moment I have 16 different projects at various stages in their development on my bench that I am working on along with my team. It is very busy but a really exciting time.

I’m not currently exploring a specific drug, although I have worked in medicines for cancer treatment and for the treatment of mental illnesses. I am currently working on coming up with new reactions, that hopefully will be used by other scientists in their work to make new medicines, which could be anything!
