I enjoy the variety! Every project I work on is different and every day I have a new surprise waiting for me , will my experiments work, what will my results be like…where will I go then! As well as meeting so many interesting people from across the world!

Sometimes everything goes wrong. Like, you have a clumsy day where you break everything, or the reaction you were hoping you could do turns out to be impossible, or any number of bad things. That really sucks, and those days are pretty hard.

But you can always find the good in the bad things, or look past them. Yes you broke a couple of flasks, but it’s not the end of the world. Your reaction doesn’t work, but know you know that you can look at a different way to make your molecule. As long as you love what you do, your least favourite things aren’t always so bad.
