The course is 4 years long, and in my third year I spent the whole year at a pharmaceutical (medicine making) company called Pfizer, where I learned lots of new things about the whole process of making medicine. It’s an undergraduate course so I started it right out of school. (2007-2011)

I would definitely recommend looking for a course that offers industrial experience or looking for internships while you are at Uni- it’s not only good for your CV, but you get to learn so much, and meet brilliant people with lots of advice and experience. You don’t just have to do it at a drug company either, you can go anywhere!
