• Question: Is it possible to overdose on all drugs?

      Great question!
      Anything in excess can cause you harm but in the case of some medicines this will be a lot more than others and will depend on how the medicine works in the body

      It’s possible to overdose on EVERYTHING. You can even overdose on water! The dose that you go over depends on the thing you are consuming though, and this can be much lower for drugs- since they are designed to have a strong effect on your biology. It all depends on how the molecules are interacting with your body. This is one of the reasons there are specific “formulations” of medicines, with a certain amount of the drug in, and guidelines for how much you should take in a day.

      Yes unfortunately, an overdose can occur with any drug if taken in excessive quantities.
